TYRELL DINOSAUR MUSEUM

Our second day in Drumheller we spent driving the Dinosaur Trails and also visiting a tiny place called Wayne. We couldn’t resist given the name. This village was once much larger and an old coal mining town, evidence of which can be seen in the hills surrounding the whole Badlands region.

Later that day we visited the Tyrell Dinosaur Museum ($10 each) which again was great value for money. The museum walks you through the distant past and the various prehistoric periods and has whole dinosaur skeletons on display, including T Rex. A fascinating place and great for kids.
